PLAY THE GAME THAT DEVELOPED THE WORLD'S BEST PLAYERS

Futsal is widely known by the smartest educators as the best skill development game for children. At it's best, players show flair, skill, courage, intelligence and vision.

It is the game Pele, Ronaldhino, Ronaldo and Robinho played as young children. In fact, all Brazilian's play small field games with fewer players until age 14.

In attack, the idea of this game is to encourage a more creative, skilful player and to use space well.

In defence, heavy tackling is strongly discouraged. Defenders are encouraged to jockey, steal & intercept to dispossess attackers.

All players must learn to attack and defend, pass & move.

It is the game where children learn how 2 can beat 1, and 3 can beat 2. Players learn how to pass and move effectively.

It is a very fast game with loads of passing and ball touches for all players. There are plenty of goals scored. 

Our referees are directed to encourage the fun, skill & flair of soccer.

Competition Venue:  Mortdale Bowling Club, 2A Boundary Road, Mortdale

                                       Saturday 7 August  - 2-4pm
                                       Saturday 14 August - 12-2pm
                                       Sunday 22 August - 4-6pm

COMPETITION INFORMATION

5-8 years - Saturday mornings 8am-11:30am

Play dates:  4, 11, 18 September - 9, 16, 23, 30 October - 6, 13, 20, 27 November - 4 December
(Break for first (25/9) & second (2/10) weekend of school holidays - play last weekend of the holidays)


9-13 years - Wednesday afternoon/evening 5pm-9pm

Play dates:  8, 15, 22 September - 13, 20, 27 October - 3, 10, 17, 24 November - 1, 8 December 
+ Finals 15 December

(Break for school holidays - 25/9 - 10/10)


14-17 years - Monday afternoons 5pm-7pm  (First past the post)

Play dates: 6, 13, 20 September - 11, 18, 25 October - 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 November - 6 December

(Break for school holidays - 25/9-10/10)


Seniors (18+) Monday evenings  7pm +  
(First past the post or Finals tba)

Play dates:  6, 13, 20 September - 11, 18, 25 October - 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 November - 6, 13 December 
- 10, 17 January 2011 - 7, 14, 21 February 2011

Costs:  Juniors (5-17yrs) $150.00 per player 
            (includes all game fees and insurance)

             Seniors - $55 per player (insurance) 
             + $60 per team per game (40 minute games)

**5-8 yrs require Birth certificate (to be sighted)**
**9-Adults require birth certificate/photo id  (to be sighted) and passport photo**
**9-Adults require numbers shirts**Numbered bibs will be available for use at the venue**
